Asset Based Lending & Collateral Based Lending 2009

The U.S. economy is facing some challenging times & unfortunately, so are many U.S. based businesses. Many banks simply don’t want to give out any money right now.
This is despite a $350,000,000.00 injection into our economy by President Bush’s economic stimulus plan. That money just has not trickled down to the little guy and the average small to medium size business.
What can a struggling business do?
--One option is an asset based or collateral based lending program.
How does it work?
--Any business can qualify (even newer businesses AND businesses that are not cash flowing like they should AND businesses with less than perfect business/personal credit).
--You can get anywhere from 35-70 cents on the dollar (the average being 50 cents on the dollar) for your equipment. You basically sell your asset and lease it back (it’s a lease to own situation).
